Invented by Wm. F. Murphy of Long Branch, USA, all-brass construction, hand-turned model of an improved mechanical movement by means of which rotary motion may be multiplied or reduced with a minimum amount of friction, crank consisting of one horizontal and one vertical slider, both running inside a cruciform guide and crossing each other's path, on wood base, 8 ¾ x 5 ½ in. works, with original flyer by the American Patent & Promotion Co.
