A group of ten stock certificates for mine companies from the early 1900s. Six certificates for Mizpah Extension Company of Tonopah Nevada include 1911 500 shares, 1911 500 shares, 1912 100 shares, 1913 100 shares, 1913 500 shares, and 1913 500 shares. A Goldfield Deep Mines Company of Nevada 1927 stock for 1,000 shares. Two certificates for Big Creek Winifrede Coal Company include 1936 100 shares and 1936 250 shares. A Chrysotile Asbestos Corporation 1912 stock for 100 shares. Stocks for each company have been grouped together and there is a note stapled to each group from the Philadelphia National Bank that the stocks appear to be worthless. The papers show general signs of age with discoloration, creasing, worn edges, and minor tears. See photos for best description.
