A framed grouping of mining stock certificates, 1870s/80s, including Alamo Gold & Silver Mining Co., Mathewson Bros., Stckton Transportation Company, Iowa Mining Company, Cholar-Norcross-Savage Shaft Co., and Ellen Winton Gold Mining Company, framed 24 x 27 inches. Provenance: Estate of Meri Jaye (San Francisco, California). Ms. Jaye was a renowned, San Francisco interior designer of passenger and cargo ships, as well as the corporate headquarters for American President Lines. She had a notable collection of shipping related artwork, furnishings, ship models, and other artifacts related to the projects she worked on.
