Height: 10 1/4" Width: 7 1/4" Depth: 2 1/2" Note: This is the very first appearance of the first paper to address the subject of psychoanalysis. In it, Freud and Breuer discuss the case of Breuer's patient, the famous "Anna O." It contains one of the first uses of the term "verdrängt," (repression), and discusses how "hysterical patients suffer mainly from reminiscences," which could be successfully treated using a talking cure.Dr. Haskell F. Norman was an analyst at the San Francisco Psychoanalytic Institute and was also a noted bibliophile and rare book collector. The front wrapper is fully detached and frayed at the edges. The rest of the journal is toned and has minor wear on the outside commensurate with age, but has no losses or repairs.
