Description
1925 Sigmund Freud On DREAM Interpretation Psychoanalysis Psychology Ego & Id
“Being entirely honest with oneself is a good exercise.”
― Sigmund Freud
Few 20th-century psychologists have had the impact on psychology and psychoanalysis as Sigmund Freud. He published a variety of books on his studies, including a famous 1923 work ‘The Ego and the Id’. This work was a prominent essay on the human psyche.
One of Freud’s earliest books was ‘Interpretation of Dreams’. In this work, Freud introduces his concepts of dream theory and how the interpretation of dreams was to be handled, both from a scientific and philosophical standpoint.
The book was immensely popular, and the content was craved by readers from all over the western world. However, many of the concepts were too difficult for basic readers, so Freud published an abridged version a few years later. This 1925 edition was published by International Psychoanalytical Publishing who used the abridged version.
