Description
Roman, Imperial Period, possibly from Roman Tunisia, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A collection of 3 wheel-thrown pottery utilitarian vessels in the form of pitchers with handles and tall necks. These were probably used for storing or serving liquids or oils. Size: 6.25" Diameter x 7.5" H (15.9 cm x 19 cm)
Provenance: private Bell Buckle, Tennessee, USA collection, by descent, acquired in Tunisia before 1969
