Description
Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 3rd to 4th century CE. A mold-patterned glass pitcher features 3 distinct patterns: latticework, diamonds, and a faint face. The broad body is hexagonal in form with a tapered shoulder, a trailed ring of glass on the neck, an everted rim, and a thick trail handle arching on the verso. Light layers of silvery and rainbow iridescence have formed across the vessel and create a dazzling presentation. Size: 2.875" W x 5.8" H (7.3 cm x 14.7 cm)
