Description
STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED OTTOMAN EMPIRE SERIES CERAMIC PLATTER, featuring blue transfer "MOSQUE / OF SULTAN ACHMET", as printed to underside, depicting an elaborate building with domes and minarets with an obelisk having character marks in front, and figures in foreground. Possibly John & William Ridgway, Shelton, England. Circa 1825. 18 3/4" x 14 1/4".
