Chinese Ming Dynasty Xuande Blue and White Porcelain Moon Vase. Potted in moon vase, thick and tall, globular moon lower belly, emerging ruyi flanked on straight cylindrical neck, round slight flaring mouth rim, raised on ring foot base with slight concave footing. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against blue color depicted of auspicious round medallion ornament surround with flowers bloom. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the under glaze grayfish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark grayfish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.

Over all in EXCELLENT Condition. Natural imperfection on the medium (porcelain), regardless from any major damages; includes minor scratches. Consider normal due to the ages.
