An Ancestry search found an Alfred China (1803-1862), having children named Martha A., Sara E., Victoria L., Susan T., Alice, and 3 other children not listed in the document featured here. Alfred and several of his children were born in Sumter, South Carolina, though around 1860 the family appears to have moved to Lauderdale County in Mississippi, where Alfred died in 1862.
