Description
Western Europe, probably France or Italy, Neoclassical period, ca. 19th century CE. A fine pair of intaglios: a carnelian portrait of E. Begue in military attire with his name inscribed below him and an agate intaglio with a minimalist depiction of a female surrounded by a silvered nickel brass bezel. Both can be easily set in a ring or bezel for a wearable piece of history! Size of larger (female): 0.8" W x 1.1" H (2 cm x 2.8 cm)
