**Originally Listed At $400**

Western Europe, probably Italy, Neoclassical period, ca. 19th century CE. A beautiful agate cameo carved in 3 layers to feature a bacchante facing left with a ram pelt draped over her shoulder and a floral wreath crowning her head. A faint signature is etched onto the verso, reading "Besc" and the numbers "15 - 60." Easily set in a pendant or brooch for a wearable piece of history! Size: 1.6" L x 1.1" W (4.1 cm x 2.8 cm)
