Original brown leather cavalry swivel holster with brass hardware, 5 x 14 in., for the M1911 colt pistol. Embossed ‘U.S.’ on the flap and marked ‘Rock Island Arsenal 1914 T.C.C.’ on the reverse. The markings are very light due to expected wear and cracking of the leather. There appear to be additional markings on the reverse but are illegible. Light verdigris to the hardware. Sold with a light brown twin magazine pouch, 4 x 5 in., also for the M1911 colt pistol. Features a U.S. insignia brass snap button on the flap. The reverse bears the marking ‘Rock Island Arsenal 1914 T.C.C.’ Significant wear to the hardware but the leather only shows some light scratching, else in very good condition. Two pieces, overall very good.
