M1911 Holster - World War II Army Army-issued World War II M1911 sidearm holster, with faint "US" in oval stamp in front leather flap. This is an exciting piece, from the most important event of the 21st century. Manufactured in 1944 by Boyt in England, the thick leather is held together with brass rivets. The leather would originally have been a medium brown, but has aged into a dark brown/black.The holster is in good shape, aside from oxidation on the brass rivets and some cracking on the leather. Approximate size: 11" x 5" x 2.5" Approximate weight: 0.8 lbs
