Set of 6 railroad dining car salad or luncheon plates in the Crest pattern top marked with Canadian Pacific shield and bottom marked Sovereign Potters Canada. Plates measure 9" and show standard signs of utensil use with light scratches and stacking wear. One plate has a 3" glaze crack and another plates has a 2" glaze crack. Otherwise no chips or breaks in the set but plates do have some leftover adhesive.The purchaser of this lot will be only the second owner beyond the Canadian Pacific Railway. These items were purchased by the family of the consignor directly through their CP Bygones vault auction in 1977. They were the first and until now only private owners of these items. These items have not been passed from collector to collector, and this is the first time they will have changed hands in forty six years.
