Set of 4 railroad dining car dinner plates in the Green Band pattern top marked with entwined CPR monogram and bottom marked Duraline Grindley Hotelware Co. England 2-55. Plates measure 10" and vary in condition from standard to moderate signs of utensil use and stacking wear. One plate does have a hairline crack that is visible on both sides but otherwise no chips, cracks, or breaks in the set. These items were purchased by the family of the consignor directly through their CP Bygones vault auction in 1977. They were the first and until now only private owners of these items. These items have not been passed from collector to collector, and this is the first time they will have changed hands in forty six years.
