Set of 5 railroad dining car soup plates in the Green Band pattern top marked with entwined CPR monogram and bottom marked Limoges WG&Co. France. Plates measure 9 1/4" and show signs of light utensil use and stacking wear. One plate does have a scratch through the green band near the crest but otherwise no chips, cracks, or breaks in the set.The purchaser of this lot will be only the second owner beyond the Canadian Pacific Railway. These items were purchased by the family of the consignor directly through their CP Bygones vault auction in 1977. They were the first and until now only private owners of these items. These items have not been passed from collector to collector, and this is the first time they will have changed hands in forty six years.
