Set of 3 railroad dining car celery dishes in the Green Band pattern with entwined CPR monogram and bottom marked Grindley Hotelware. Dishes measure 11" x 5 1/2" and show standard signs of use with moderate utensil marks and stacking wear. No chips, cracks, or breaks in the set.The purchaser of this lot will be only the second owner beyond the Canadian Pacific Railway. These items were purchased by the family of the consignor directly through their CP Bygones vault auction in 1977. They were the first and until now only private owners of these items. These items have not been passed from collector to collector, and this is the first time they will have changed hands in forty six years.
