Public Debt Certificate for $10.50 made out to Jerome Porter for service in Captain Erath's Company of Minute Men. Numbered 27. Captain George B. Erath is listed as raising a company of "Minute Men" in Milam County, Texas from March to June, 1839. He would raise several military companies even into 1861. **Good condition overall. Some wear to corners and edges along with some minor tears along folding seams. Some scattered foxing. Seal intact. Some fading of ink.** $150 - $300
