$24 November 28, 1854, Cr. 53C Fine-Very Fine, CC.

This interesting debt instrument was made payable to "James B. Pier" who served in Gibson Kykendall's company of volunteers at the battle of San Jacinto and served in further Republic of Texas actions and had served in the Mexican war and the Civil War.

Endorsements are on the back. Attached is his assignment for his attorney to collect the debt dated December 1,1854, Travis County
