Description
This is an attractive Edwardian ivory colored satin charmeuse wedding gown dating from 1915-1918 time period. Thiss is a gown that a mid to upper class dress that a woman would wear.
The bodice is decorated with a tape lace on net with machine lace edging, on front and back drop. With a high neck collar with stays is decorated with faux pearls and white beads. Both shoulder collar and front and inner sleeves and back drop is lavishly decorated with lace. The bodice has an inner corset buttoned with mother of pearl buttons and extensive hook and loop front closure fastening into a tight fitting bodice.
The bodice is lined with white satin. Back bodice waist is adorned with a decorative medallion composed of beads and pearls sewn into side streamer of lace.
The skirt closes by hooks and loops at the back at back with fullness for a nice fall. The skirt is unlined.
CONDITION</
The gown is in good condition. The bodice lining fabric is in very good condition. Light underarm discoloration on lining and outside charmeuse, no repairs, few stains and few holes pictured.
