Pre-Columbian, Southern Mexico, Guerrero region, Mezcala culture, ca. 600 to 100 BCE; Southern Mexico to Guatemala, Maya, late Pre-Classic to Late Classic Period, ca. 250 BCE to 900 CE. A necklace of wearable form that is strung with 21 hand-carved greenstone beads from across ancient Mesoamerica. The beads exhibit tubular, barrel, spherical, and oblong forms while displaying wondrous hues of green and white. Size (necklace): 17.25" L (43.8 cm); (largest bead): 1.875" L x 0.5" W (4.8 cm x 1.3 cm)

Wearable as shown and strung in modern times. Greenstone beads are ancient; stringing and metal findings are modern. Minor nicks and abrasions to some beads, otherwise all are intact and very good. Great surface smoothness, stone color, and luster throughout.
