Description
DESCRIPTION: Eighteenth century Pennsylvania walnut eight day tall case clock. Circa 1780-1800. Unsigned white dial with moon and sun facing in front of a signed Osborne movement. Case with rectangular base resting on bracket feet with a narrow waist. Winding door has been reconfigured from a solid panel to a glazed door and then back to solid panel. High bonnet with swans necks surmounted by three urn finials. MEASUREMENTS: 96" high x 11" deep x 20" wide. CONDITION: Runs. Losses to dial. Finials possibly replaces. Replaced winding door. MH.
