A Federal cherrywood tall case clock

The arched painted dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes with subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, the twin train movement striking on a bell.

Condition
Click and dial possibly by association, cheeks have had blocks screwed to the inside to widen, seat board screwed into the later blocks. Seat board inscribed PH N62. Case with general marks, nicks, scratches, cracking and wear. Hood finials loose. Areas of shrinkage cracking to hood. Uprights loose. Central panel to case door replaced. Some spotting and oxidation to dial. With pendulum and weights. Working condition unknown and not guaranteed.
