Description

Late 18th century Chippendale English tall case clock, signed Edward Barlow, Oldham.A flat top bonnet enclosing a beautiful 12" brass dial and 8 day movement over a case with nicely shaped waist door with corner columns & resting on ogee feet. Measures at approximately 81 inches tall.Condition: Works and case likely not originally associated. Slight damage to lower dial and one spandrel. Glass door is very loose and needs repair. Missing portion of the backboard likely very old damage. Damage to lower front right leg and needs to be nailed back on. Two weights, pendulum and winding key are included. UNTESTED, AS IS CONDITION.Blue tape is to hold the door closed.
