Chinese Ming Dynasty Xuande Blue and White Porcelain Bowl On Carved Hardwood Stands. The porcelain potted in a shallow, slight deep, flori form shape, with close mouth rim, raised on ring foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white color which contrast against blue color, depicted of swim carp through water plan, flowers bloom and sea grass. The Carp Similar sounding to the word Business in Chinese, the carp symbolizes a wish for benefit or advantage in business, and accepted to represent longevity, wealth, abundance, and perseverance.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a four under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine blue rings. Made in The Years of Xuande Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
