Inscription: Verso inscribed by another person: "Verst. 9/III 14".
Date: c. 1870
Description: Very high-quality and typical work by the Kronberg painter, who received his training and main inspiration in France in the circle of the Barbizon school and was one of the most important innovators of landscape painting in Hesse in the 2nd half of the 19th century.
