Signed in print by Rabbis Joshua Leib Diskin of Brisk and his Beth Din, Joseph Chaim Sonnenfeld, Eliezer Menachem Biderman and Mordechai Eliezer Weber, among others. Flattened folds, light browning, minor soiling, remnants of adhesive, else in near fine condition .*This Broadside is mounted to a board that does not detract from its value. Scarce broadside issued by the Ashkenazi Rabbis of Jerusalem reaffirming their ruling forbidding the secular education of Jewish children in the Holy City of Jerusalem “under pain of excommunication". The Rabbis stress that even the teaching of the Arabic language is forbidden, as is privately tutoring a student.
