Southeast Asia, Thailand or Cambodia, ca. 12th to 14th century CE. A wheel-thrown pottery teapot known as a kendi with a thick foot, an apple-shaped body, a slender neck topped by a flared spout, and a conical spout projecting from one side of the shoulder. Size: 7.25" L x 5.4" W x 8.6" H (18.4 cm x 13.7 cm x 21.8 cm)

Condition
Repair to base of neck, with small chips and light adhesive residue along break lines. Light abrasions and small nicks, with minor earthen deposits, otherwise in great condition. Nice preservation to overall form.
