Description
Elvis Presley's Naldecon Prescription Pill Bottle Prescribed by Dr. Nichopoulos From the Estate of Dr. Elias Ghanem W/(2) LOAs - This was Elvis Presley's prescription pill bottle from Physicians & Surgeons Pharmacy of Baptist Memorial Hospital. The prescription for the antihistamine Naldecon was prescribed by Dr. Nichopoulos and is dated 9-22-74. This pill bottle was one of many left at the home of Elvis' Las Vegas physician Dr. Elias Ghanem, as Elvis would often stay at the doctor's home inside the Las Vegas Country Club which was located directly behind The International (later the Las Vegas Hilton). Elvis had a record 837 consecutive performances at The International from 1969 to 1976, and often stayed in Dr. Ghanem's guest bedroom. The bottle will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Dr. Ghanem's wife Jody. The bottle also includes a second Letter of Authenticity from EP Archives, which states that, "These 2 bottles were part of a larger acquisition of prescription bottles from Dr. Ghanem's estate. Several narcotics were confiscated from Elvis by Dr. Ghanem during an emergency visit from Las Vegas to Palm Springs on April 17th, 1977." Please see the second mentioned bottle in the previous lot.
