Comprising three individual black lacquer shrines with gilded interiors, the largest depicting two carved gilt wood Buddhas (Sakyamuni and Taho) at top, and below four standing figures, together with another example depicting a carved wood seated Buddha on a lotus throne with two dietys and another shrine depicting a carved polychrome and gilt wood seated figure on lotus throne above crashing waves. Greatest height 7 inches (18cm)
