Comprising five individual Japanese portable zushi shrines, each with black lacquer case with gilt hardware opening to reveal a gilt interior with carved wood Buddhist deity including two with full length Buddha figures on ornate lotus stands, another depicting Marishi-ten, and others. The expample at top left with lengthy inscription on verso. Greatest height 5.2 inches (13.4cm).
