LOT OF CHINESE SILK EMBROIDERED TEXTILES
19th/20th Century
1) Blue robe with blue peony decoration, some in forbidden stitch. Figural landscape sleeve bands with metallic thread highlights on a cream-colored ground.
2) Turquoise damask skirt with two panels of forbidden stitch peony surrounded by embroidered bats and peonies, with scattered butterfly and floral sprays throughout.
3) Pair of sleeve bands with peony and rockery on a cream-colored ground. Olive green brocade trim.
4-5) Pair of silk panels, each depicting a gilt dragon chasing a fiery pearl on a blue ground filled with cranes and clouds. Most likely taken from a robe.

Some wear, including losses and staining to each piece indicative of age. Damage to blue robe at seams under arms.
