DESCRIPTION: Confederate States short sword from the Civil War comprised of a straight blade tapered at the end with a swedge, a hilt with circle at the top end leading down into a curved D guard knuckle bow over a turned wood handle. The sheath is composed of black leather stitched together at one side.
Ricasso is impressed "Macon Arsenal 1861".
