Description
STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PRESENTATION JUG / PITCHER WITH "MAKE-DO", featuring black transfer images and poems pertaining to farming to each side including "God Speed the Plough", having "John Stephens / Born Jany 26th / 1810" below spout, and a broad "make-do" tin handle. Large elaborate masted ship printed to underside and a girl skipping rope to interior. Circa 1825. 9 5/8" HOA.
