Description
Egypt, Late Dynastic Period, 26th to 31st Dynasty, ca. 664 to 332 BCE. A mold-formed faience ushabti standing in mummiform while holding a pick and hoe in crossed arms; a seed bag is incised behind his left shoulder. Bright blue glaze covers the entire figure, and a T-shaped bar of hieroglyphs is inscribed across the front of the figure. Size: 1.1" W x 4.5" H (2.8 cm x 11.4 cm)
