- Pierre Bacher (1922-2000), Haut-Rhin (1960er-Jahre).

Dieser zoomorphe Maskentypus wird "bo nun amuin" genannt, was wörtlich übersetzt „Götter der Wildnis“ heisst.

Die Maske wurde an einem sakralen Ort ausserhalb des Dorfes aufbewahrt und schützte die Gemeinschaft vor unheilvollen Kräften. Sie trat z.B. anlässlich Gedenkfeiern zu Ehren der Ahnen auf.
