Miniature Carved Wood African Mask. Closely resembles in style the "bo nun amuin," also called the bush god or helmet mask, of the Baule people of modern-day Ivory Coast, with distinguishing features of two curved horns joined at the tips, vertically stretched head with domed forehead, protruding eyes and eyebrows carved in low-relief, long, straight nose, and square opening forming the mouth, with square jaw in cross-section.
