A Colima standing female figure with arms held straight down, slightly out from the body. The figure wears a plain wrap skirt and a plain cap. The nose is pronounced, while the eyes and mouth are only minimally defined. Burnished buff ceramic. Late Formative, 300 BCE to 200 CE. Mexico. 16 3/4" x 8 1/4".Condition: Very good, with no apparent breaks or repairs. Custom mount included.Provenance: From the Boeckman Collection. Dallas, Texas. Acquired 1/11/1971. From the collection of Ted Van Dyke.
