Two Ceremonial Bowls, Star Harbor Area, Solomon Islands, First Half 20th C. Each bowl of blackened wood with shell inlay has stylized bird and fish forms. Slight damage and missing inlay. Cf. Size: 1) 11.5'' x 4'' x 3.5'' (29 x 10 x 9 cm); 2) 15'' x 5.5'' x 3.5'' (38 x 14 x 9 cm).
