Description
Pre-Columbian, Central America, El Salvador, Maya, Copador type, Late Classic Period, ca. 550 to 900 CE. A broad pottery bowl with corseted walls and colorful decorations! Within the basin is a band of lengthy pseudo-glyphs and repeating heads while the center is adorned with a red circular emblem. The exterior features 2 seated human figures, one with a single canine companion and the other with a pair of impatient pooches. Size: 6.75" W x 2.75" H (17.1 cm x 7 cm)
