This figure painting, attributed to 19th century, Chinese Qing dynasty artist Tang Luming, was scheduled to go to Christie’s NY for their online in December 2020 sale before their Chinese paintings department in NY was closed down and moved to HK (Hong Kong). This painting depicts a Chinese scholar sitting by a Moon Window and gazing out onto his rock and plum flower garden under the light of a romantic full moon.
