Edo period (1615-1868), 18th century
A hanging scroll painting in ink and colors on paper of a standing courtesan in a multi-layered kimono with motifs of flowers and grasses, her obi (sash) tied in the front, and her kamuro attendant or understudy, holding an uchiwa fan, signed Okumura Masanobu ga and sealed with an illegible seal
