World War I - Collection of 104 orig. photographs (vintages, mostly (bromine) silver gelatin prints) and photopostcards with pictures from the Eastern Front. Mounted on 30 loose album sheets. - The photographs (mostly inscribed below, occ. on the photos), show, among others: Poland, Russia, Romania, Ukraine, several panoramas (position at the Bug near Sokal), fallen, destroyed railroad bridge etc. - Partly silvered, somewhat rubbed and stained, a few photos removed, some loose.
Die meist unterhalb, gelegentlich auf den Photos beschrifteten Aufnahmen zeigen u.a.: Polen (Gorlice, Przemysl, Dzialosze, Sandomierz), Russland, Rumänien (Ujradna, Rotunda), Ukraine (Dubno, Paryszcze, Uhryniw, Epidemiefriedhof Sokal), mehrere Panoramen (Stellung am Bug bei Sokal), Gefallene, zerstörte Eisenbahnbrücke etc. - Tls. ausgesilbert, etwas berieben u. fleckig, vereinzelt Photos entnommen, wenige lose.
