TEXTILE: Pieced cotton quilt with various calico "Sawtooth" triangles arranged in diagonal lines, c. 1825-1850, alternating with plain white triangles, white triangles are quilted and stuffed with arched feather motifs, the colors of the calicoes in the quilt are pastel shades of pink, blue, tan, and brown, quilt is bordered with a printed stripe furnishing cotton, plain white cotton backing, front to back binding, quilting varies from five to seven stitches per inch, condition is good considering age and use and includes some fading, abrasion damage to edges, scattered minor stains, etc., sold as is, 101" l. x 90" w.
