The squares were made and contributed by fiends and relatives. The square on opposite side of this was contributed by Ann Atkinson grandmother of Anne Atkinson Wright- /It says: 'Penned by Anne Atkinson, for her grand-daughter in the 86th year of her age'/ Ann Gibbs Atkinson was born 1756, the daughter of Martin & Phoebe Gibbs, died after 1842 - she married Benjamin Atkinson in 1780. She was my great- great- grandmother.
