unsigned, mixed media artwork, depicting the event at Donington Park, Pat Fairfield driving to victory in his ERA, leading Percy Maclure in his Riley, 41 x 74cm, mounted, with 'The Autocar' label applied to rear of mounting card, framed and glazed.

This was a 153 mile handicap race comprising 60 laps of the Donington circuit for cars up to 1500cc. Twenty cars started but only six finished. 1. P Fairfield (1.1 ERA) 2h25'10' with an average speed of 63.67mph; 2. P Maclure (1.1 Riley Brooklands) 2h26'23' average 63.45mph; 3. DL Briault (MG) 2h29'39' average 62.05mph; 4 F Dixon (Riley) 2h30'25' average 61.47mph; 5. 'B.Bira' (MG K3) 2h34'54' average and and 6. Miss Evans (R Type MG Midget) 2h36'04' 59.63mph.
