401 唐 紅陶加彩仕女俑立像

仕女昂首端立，頭梳高髻，面頰豐潤飽滿帶紅妝，彎眉細目，隆鼻紅唇微露笑意，五官精緻，神色莊重恭謹。身穿長裙，身形些微側彎，裙擺曳地露出尖頭履。雙手舉至胸前，指尖纖細，手拿絹帕，姿態柔美優雅。襦裙雖然寬大，但由袖子部分衣褶的垂墜，及雙足之間裙擺的聚攏，仍可於曲線流動間感覺出裙袍下肢體的渾圓厚實，充分展現盛唐時期女子的雍容大度與自信神彩。整體藝術手法寫實，豐腴中的雅致，流露出盛唐女子華貴的氣質與魅力。
唐代陶俑表現內容、題材廣泛，所塑人像生活氣息濃郁，幾乎囊括唐人生活各個層面，不僅是當時藝術成就的高超體現，亦為彼時世俗生活的真實寫照。其製作多以紅陶或灰陶土為胎，合模翻製後，經過精心修飾，入窯燒造，再加飾彩繪。本品以燒成的紅陶為底，敷上白色化妝土，化妝土之上再以紅、綠、黑等各色顏料彩繪其上而成。因時間久遠，最初鮮亮的彩繪大多數已脫落，仍可從殘留痕跡遙想仕女當初的鮮明樣貌。
唐代社會開放包容而創新，女性地位高，不乏充滿才情學識、在朝履職的女性。女俑主要有貴族婦女、侍女、藝伎三種形象，更可見許多中國繪畫技法與雕塑工藝的結合。尤其是陶俑之服飾，工匠利用許多陰線紋以及陽線紋裝飾，線條疏密相間、流暢自如，衣褶更為生動。且此時期女子崇尚肥體之美，健康自信的神采為其他時期所罕見。如台北國立故宮博物院庋藏唐〈灰陶加彩仕女俑〉，與本件陶俑皆於蓬鬆的髮頂挽著高髻，烘托滿月般豐潤的面龐，充分表現盛唐仕女「大髻寬衣」、「豐厚為體」之形象，將女子端麗的身姿與氣度定格成永恆的藝術作品。
