英國倫敦 「S. Marchant & Son」 是世界頂級的東方藝術品公司，創辦於1925年，經由家族四代傳承，已營近百年。創始人 Samuel Sydney Marchant 以其名為古董店命名，1936年其子 Richard 出生後，便將店名改為 「S. Marchant & Son」 寄望兒子能夠繼承衣缽。二戰期間， 店面受到導彈襲擊，損失慘重。然秉承對古董藝術品的熱愛和古董商的堅持，戰後重整旗鼓，在二代掌舵者 Richard Marchant 帶領下，專攻東方藝術，聚焦明、清代的宮廷御用器物，包含玉器、瓷器和琺瑯器等。將 Marchant 家族的古董收藏推向嶄新高度，更明確家族經營方向，進而奠定其於古董藝術圈不可動搖的權威地位，成為世界藝術市場表現的風向指標。
白玉質，凝白如脂，溫潤厚實，局部帶有金黃沁色。雕琢為飽滿瓜果形，頂部開口，掏膛精細。外壁藤蔓攀延纏繞，連綿不絕，大小瓜葉錯落掩映，葉脈清晰細膩，癩瓜牽藤，成熟時自然裂開的果實露出飽滿瓜瓤，籽多而飽滿。金黃沁色處雕蝴蝶，穿梭於瓜葉間似欲採摘花蜜，姿態靈活可愛，一派生機勃勃之感，寓有「瓜瓞綿綿、子孫滿堂、福康永享」吉祥之意。整體質地細膩，刀法純熟，線條爽朗俐落，表現出枝葉繁茂，瓜果鮮嫩的光澤品相，且大小適中，渾圓飽滿，適於掌中把玩。
