A George III sterling silver entrée or chafing dish, London 1782 by Daniel Smith and Robert Sharp (this mark reg. 7th Feb 1780)
of oval form with a beaded rim, plain loop twin handles. The domed lid surmounted by a later detachable wooden knop finial, the wing nut marked for Charles Stuart Harris. Fully marked to the underside and the interior of the lid.
